For over 45 years, The National Theatre for Children has believed in something simple: when you reach young people where they are, you can change where they’re going. Since 1978, more than 30 million students have experienced the magic of live educational theatre — laughing, learning and discovering how they can make a real difference.
Students are far more likely to remember content when it’s taught through stories—research suggests retention can be up to 22 times higher than with facts alone.

Our educational programs are flexible, curriculum-connected, standards-aligned and completely free — covering a wide range of subjects through live performances, digital content, hands-on activities and more.

I think the presenters did a great job getting and keeping the students’ attention throughout the entire assembly. The time frame is perfect for delivering the messages and key concepts and the key concepts were reviewed and repeated in order for kids to have a firm grasp of the content. Really well done!

I really enjoyed the show and the educational information that the show gave to the students. The actors explained the four concepts of conserving and saving energy in best possible way. The students acted out the show right after and were excited to let me know what they have learned. We should have more shows like this about other topics as well.
