Resource Force LIVE
Grades 3-5 | Energy Efficiency
Resource Force LIVE is an interactive assembly that teaches students about energy efficiency and conservation through humor, action and audience participation. Two professional actors perform three lively and educational sketches, using improv and audience suggestions to take students on a journey. From learning how natural resources generate electricity to discovering ways to conserve renewable energy, students will explore these important topics in a fun and memorable way.
Along with the live performance, teachers and students will receive an e-learning package filled with games, quizzes, and lesson plans designed to reinforce the concepts introduced in the show. These additional resources provide a seamless extension of the learning experience, offering valuable tools to integrate energy education into the classroom.

Through engaging sketches featuring a variety of entertaining characters, Fund Your Future teaches the following educational points:

This in-school performance comes with a Teacher Toolkit, providing educators with easy-to-use online resources that extend the learning experience.
Audience Guidelines – Before the show, watch a brief video to equip students with the skills they need to be excellent audience members.
Pre-Show Materials – Get students primed for learning with KWL charts and vocabulary words to scaffold their experience.
Student Booklet – The printed activity book contains several program-themed activities to engage elementary school students, that can be completed in the classroom or at home. The book also features a center-spread arts integration activity for students to share with their families. The booklet is also available digitally in the Teacher Toolkit.
Printable Handouts – The toolkit contains several program-themed printable handouts to engage students in the lessons from the performance. These can be completed in the classroom or at home.
Hands-on Lessons – These easy-to-use lessons let students and teachers bring the educational content to life in the classroom.
Digital Games – Using characters and elements from the program, the digital games offer challenging levels to test students’ knowledge of facts and vocabulary while keeping them engaged.
Take-Home Packs – Students will receive a string backpack with a notebook and energy pledge magnet.

The program was fabulous. I had the students read the packet with me and then we played all the games before the performance part of the program. The performance then really solidified the information. The actors were absolutely terrific including being loud enough for everyone to hear in the gym. I thought all the signs put up during the show and the ending summary were also great.
